Mai Khao Beach is situated on the northwest end coast of Phuket Island. It is 10 kilometers long and this is the longest beach on Phuket Island. A part of Mai Khao Beach belong to Sirinat National Park. Mai Khao Beach is a secluded beach that keep far away from other places and people. At the seashore will be lined up with Casuarina trees next behind with coconut trees. Only on this beach to find sea cicada, it very crunchy when you cook “tempura” and dip with sweet and sour chili sauce. Along this coastline from south to north find lots of swamps or wetlands. These natural wetlands are inhabitant of flora and fauna. Wetland is so productive ecosystems in the world.
