Cape Panwa is situated on the southeast of Phuket Island. The area is covered by coconut plantation and evergreen trees up down hilly with many nice beaches. Phuket Deep Sea Port is located here at Ao Makham.

Along the road side local Muslim villager and the base of the Royal Thai Navy Third Command. Study marine lives here at Phuket Marine Bio Research Center at the end of the cape. On the way back and turn left go up to Khao Khad then see the view of Chalong Bay from there.
